Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans tomato sauce (15 oz each)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a pot; add onion and garlic and cook until soft.
- Add tomato sauce, broth, and tomato paste; stir well.
- Add cocoa, chili powder, cinnamon, allspice, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 45–60 minutes uncovered, stirring occasionally.
- Cook spaghetti until al dente; drain.
- Serve spaghetti topped with chili, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
