Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and butter; sear pork chops 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook onion until softened. Add garlic and mushrooms; cook until browned.
  4. Add chicken broth; scrape up browned bits.
  5. Reduce heat; stir in cream and thyme. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return pork chops; spoon sauce over and simmer a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley or green onions.
  8. Serve hot over potatoes, rice, or noodles.
