  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Shredded cheddar cheese, for topping
  • Sour cream, for topping
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain fat.
  2. Transfer to crockpot and add garlic.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, beans, broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cook on low 6–8 hours or high 3–4 hours.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve with cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
